‘lo all. i’m having an amazing summer so far. currently looking for an internship in D.C., which is a bit of a pain, but otherwise things are great. Not doing much, but just very relaxed.
Who’s doing what this summer?
Thanks,

Let’s see, I have four big papers to finish this week, then I come home. Freedom, is sooo close.
GAH! It cannot come soon enough!!! I’ve been sick pretty much continuously since spring break, so I’m very tired.
Successes: I got a new cellphone. My hair is really long. I have tasted fried ochre, and it is the best fried thing ever.
I’M REALLY EXCITED for next semester, as I will be in Washington D.C. I’m [...]
Currently on delightful Spring Break and OH MY GOODNESS is it relaxing! Which is great because that first half of the semester was rough as heck. Doing OK in my classes, I know what I need to do to step it up yet a notch further.
Accomplishments of Spring Break:
Have been reviewing Chinese characters 3 days [...]
Just a quick little sketchy practice piece. I want to do some comics featuring myself, not necessarily for this site, but just for fun. I’m a terrible artist of real people, so I have to copy the hard work of others. Oh, for those who don’t know me, I’m a Lubavitcher Chassid (as of something [...]
Trying my hand at typography. First time I’ve tried anything like this. Let me know what you think!

She was at the Club Fair (one of those big events where all the student organizations get together to advertise and get new members), and she needed $10 for securing a booth. She was running around looking trying to get [...]
Well it’s been a long but very successful first two days at Cornell University. So far this feels like the most “collegey” of all my semesters. China and the World looks to be a very interesting history/political theory class on modern China. Mandarin II basically evokes the typically feelings of inadequacy and dread, but at [...]

This marks the final week at home. Heading back Sunday. Here’s my course list:
China and the World
High Intermediate Mandarin II
Physics of Musical Sound (to get rid of Science credits)
Political Theory and Cinema
The last course is to finish off my German Minor, and it better be worth it b/c it requires 11 textbooks.
Hope those of you [...]
