This is a redo of one of the oldest An Unrehearsed Riot strips in existence. Drawn in English class, junior year of high school, most likely in the spring, the original can be seen here: http://foxinsox9045.deviantart.com. My art hasn’t really changed THAT much since then. Wow.
i have always thought this one really sums up your comics and humour.
You always had a very unique, very fun sense of HUMOR, Ian. (take THAT British English).
really william? it just looks better. also, why aren’t you calling your sister more often? (I really hope this is william crawford)
I was just saying more of his humor, not so much the style of the drawing. The comics are generally just odd scenarios with very little context (i.e. “Sir, you have a tuba stuck on your briefcase”).
Who is William Crawford?
I will call you when I get around to it if you’d like…
I’m sorry that was just a comment on my Uk English spelling, I think the “humour” spelling looks better. I also really like the tuba one and his little chalk doodles. William Crawford is my younger brother, who is also a reader and friend of Ian’s and likely to make a slight on me using British English. Sorry for the confusion.
HUMOUR gets my stamp of approval! Oh Yeah! Tea time now I think.
No confusion, and I am very sure he is laughing to himself under a fairly red duvet in his old bedroom that he is able to upset his darling sister, even though she is 3000 miles away based on something written 2 weeks ago.
wait…WILLIAMSTUARTZACKCRAWFORDGETOUTOFMYBEDROOM! just because i am out of the country till june doesn’t mean you can stink up my bed with your boy smell!
Too late! The stink has permeated into your pillows. MWUAHAHA!!
Ian, I’m so sorry for ruining this comment thread.
nonsense! it increases my traffic! carry on.
well on a more relevant topic, I do really love this comic. do you, or would you consider making prints?
I’m definitely not going to have a formal system like a store or anything set up for a while most likely, simply because my readership is still too small to warrant the trouble. However, there are a lot of places at Cornell where I could get prints made. Are there any specific comics you want printed up? Basically if you tell me what you’d like I can get them made up, send ‘em to you, and as long as you pay me enough to break even I’ll be plenty happy. Glad you like them that much!
