Retro things are pretty cool.  Dippy birds, disco balls, lava lamps, pixel art, dial-up, giant cellphones, drum machines, vinyl records, phonographs, audio cassettes, 70s muscle cars, Star Trek, ray guns, dinosaurs, myspace, converse shoes, funk, swing, fedoras, pinups, McCarthyism, trench coats, black & white TV, beta max, hammond organs, meatloaf, picnics, murder with by poisoning, tie-dye, typewriters, life on the moon, Alfred Hitchcock, garden gnomes, Tamagotchis, rocket ships, Dr. Brown’s Cream Soda, N64, burning witches, optical illusions, scooters, those alarm clocks with the bells on top, analog synthesizers, mellotrons, robots that can’t bend their arms or say anything other than “Danger, Will Robinson,” Dr. Who, boom boxes on shoulders, hot pants, slipping on banana peels, paisley, neon, Groucho Marx disguises, pink flamingo lawn ornaments, fringed leather jackets, The Flinstones, peace signs, smoking jackets, beatniks, pipes, the robot (dance style), ridiculously expensive things that used to cost 50¢ or less, Cliff Notes, drive in movies, rotary dial telephones, afros, bear-claw necklaces, rock-em-sock-em robots, Y2K, cyberpunk, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers *sigh*, patriotism, valium, spaghetti westerns, plastic army men, Mozart, and bowler hats are all extremely retro and cool.
